Vietnam Pro Wrestling

Vietnam's only wrestling promotion currently runs shows out of VAIB Studios in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. Founded by top stars Rocky Huynh and Sid Nguyen almost a decade ago the promotion has trained up a full roster of talented, home-grown wrestlers who provide the backbone of the 6-7 shows run every year.

In addition to the founders, some of the top stars today include Openweight Champion Hy Draco, Ares, Venom Shank, VTX and The Classic Night. 

Fans have become accustomed to a mix of sports-entertainment, strong style, wild brawls and luchadoresque high-flying match ups supported by a cast of wrestlers from around the world.

Notable SEA Wrestlers have included AEW's Viva Van, Malaysia's Miles Karu and Singapore's Alexis Lee.

Singapore Pro Wrestling

SPW is probably the most prestigious wrestling promotion in South East Asia thanks to its long running, consistent shows in Singapore as well as its amazing list of alumni. Names on this list include former WWE United States Champions, Kalisto and Tajiri, former NXT champion Johnny Gargano, Japanese Joshi icons Emi Sakura, Riho and Meiko Satomura and most notably one of the best in the world AEW EVP Kenny Omega!

Currently running around 6-8 shows are year, since 2011 SPW has become a backbone of professional wrestling in the region providing entertaining, often family friendly shows beloved by local wrestling fans.

Notable homegrown stars include founder Andruew Tang, current champion Da Butcherman, fun tag team Jack N Cheese and Alexis Lee.

SETUP - Thailand Pro Wrestling

SETUP Thailand Pro Wrestling is a leading pro wrestling promotion based in Bangkok, established in 2019 by Pumi Boonyatud and Paksa.

Emerging from their training with Emi Sakura's Gatoh Move, the duo created Thailand's first professional wrestling championships. Known for showcasing skilled veterans and rising stars, SETUP has gained international recognition through exciting events and live broadcasts.

It continues to elevate Thailand's wrestling scene, with highlights including memorable title fights and collaborations with notable global entities. SETUP typically runs around 5-6 shows a year as well as a number of IWA Branded events. 

The promotion works closely with Japanese companies and has recently seen Zack Sabre Jr and El Phantasmo wrestle in Novermber 2024. in 2025 they promoted a show in partnership with Pro Wrestling Noah and also ran a hugely successful event in Japan. They finished the year off with a co-promoted event in Bangkok with TJPW.

Malaysia Pro Wrestling

Started around 10 years ago, relying on a Muay Thai ring. MYPW has become a staple in the SEA wrestling calendar.

Founded in 2014 the Malaysia based promotion has helped to develop a range of talent from Malaysia that are now regional sensations including Poppy, The Juicy Boyz and Emman Azman. They have also provided a place for wrestlers based in Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam a place to work. .

MYPW might have one of the best looking venues in the region with the attractive KuAsh theatre in Kuala Lumpur. In 2025 they partnered with DDT/TJPW to deliver their biggest show yet.

Grapplemax

Grapplemax, established in 2016 in Singapore, combines pro wrestling and fitness training in a unique studio format.

Known for its regular shows featuring exciting live matches, Grapplemax hosts events that highlight local and regional talent with a motto that everyone is welcome.

The promotion emphasizes inclusivity and skill development, offering workshops and opportunities for aspiring wrestlers. Notable stars include founder ENDBOSS Gregory, Hotshot, SPD, Aussie Aussie Aussie and Ships Ahoy.

The promotion has strong relationships with groups in Taiwan (NTW), Dubai (Wrestlefest DXB), Japan (Diana) and The Philippines (FPW). 

Throughout 2025 the promotion has made significant growth by partnering with community projects in Singapore and local businesses to expand their family orientated wrestling. 

Grapplemax continues to grow the Southeast Asian wrestling scene, hosting consistent shows and cultivating a passionate fan base.

World Underground Wrestling

World Underground Wrestling Philippines (WUW PH), established in 2019 in Quezon City, is a prominent branch of the global World Underground Wrestling franchise founded by Fugo Fugo Yumeji.

The Philippines branches was started by Saint John Martin. The unique shows feature no ropes or chain's instead of ropes. Complimenting the Puso and Dexcon shows, the promotion tends to only run once or twice a year. 

Paradise Sports Entertainment

One of the newer promotions in the region hailing from the city of paradise in Thailand. PSE operates as a performance center for aspiring wrestlers while also running entertaining shows from their own training grounds as well as a variety of venues in Pattaya, Phuket and Bangkok. If you ever wanted to mix the wild nightlife of Thailand with the thrills of pro wrestling, now you can! It's never clear where they might show up from Mexican restaurants, to five star hotels. One thing is for sure, Sunny Z, Benji and co always create chaos.

Recently the promotion has branched out to running Livestream shows for in China and even after dinner entertainment in Cambodia. 

PUSO Wrestling

Rising after the closure of the Manilla Wrestling Federation, the vibrant PUSO wrestling is one of the trio of promotions using the Brawlpit in Bulusan as their home base. 

The promotion uses a range of standout local talent from former MWF stars and those working in WUW.

Established in 2024 the promotion holds 4-6 ticketed events a year as well as hosting mat shows at conventions and putting on regular livestreams that can be watched on their YouTube channel. 

DXCN Wrestling

DXCN or Dexcon is another of the three promotions to run out of The Brawlpit in Bulusan. 

Running their first show in 2023, they have become perhaps the more pure wrestling focused of the three brands running the underground arena.

As well as dropping great matches on Youtube, DXCN provides post show PPV allowing you to see their local stars such as Main Maxx and Jake De Leon tie up with international sensations such as Zack Sabre Jr!

2025 saw DEXCON become the definitive supershow brand in The Philippines with a series of international sensations taking on the local talent including El Phantasmo, Lacey Lane and Carlo Cannon. They also inked a deal on Triller TV to broadcast shows on delay. 

APAC Wrestling

APAC Wrestling, founded by Ayez Shaukat Fonseka Farid, is one of Malaysia's premier professional wrestling promotions and training center. Established in 2020, it has significantly contributed to the growth of the local wrestling scene. Notably, hijab-wearing wrestler Nor "Phoenix" Diana became the inaugural APAC Women's Champion in December 2022, highlighting the promotion's commitment to inclusivity. APAC Wrestling has expanded its reach by organizing regular shows and planning international appearances in Japan and the United States.

In 2025 the promotion put on the biggest ever local professional wrestling event in Slam Fest '25 that saw Shaukat defeat Raj Deshi on iPPV. Currently their Women's championship sits around the waist of AEW and international superstar Mercedes Money (AKA Sasha Banks in WWE)

Ring of Rebirth

Ring of Rebirth (RoR) is a professional wrestling promotion based in Singapore, founded in 2022 by The Eurasian Dragon. As Singapore's third and youngest wrestling promotion, RoR has quickly gained attention in the Southeast Asian wrestling scene. The promotion showcases a diverse roster, including talents like Aerial Sniper Nyc, Kuhan Bluestar, and international wrestlers such as Golem Thai and Sid Nguyen. RoR regularly hosts events at the Goldpine Industrial Building, with livestreams available on their Instagram channel.

Filipino Pro Wrestling

Filipino Pro Wrestling (FPW) is the spiritual successor to Phillipine Wrestling Revolution. The company runs regular shows from Baked Studios titled "Astig" and follow a TV taping style format while they also run smaller more intimate "Secret Shows" from their training facility. 

The promotion follows a more US sports entertainment style of story driven matches that excite fans around the globe. The roster includes Filipino veterans such as champion Quatro, Mike Madrigal, The Yolo Twins and Robynn as well as dynamic and popular newcomers such as Penny Haze and Legendarius.

Notable moments in 2025 included actor Rocco Nacino's appearances, Kushida making an in-ring appearance, an exciting feud with Grapplemax and the retirement of Chino Guinto. 

Bali Pro Wrestling

Bali Pro Wrestling is a  new promotion coming in 2026 focussing on promoting shows in Bali (unsurprisingly). The promotion will be helping to give opportunities to developing Indonesian wrestlers as well as pitting the best in the SEA region against each other. 

Indonesia Pro Wrestling

IDPW is a currently operating as a development school for aspiring Indonesian wrestlers. Headed up by Head Coach Dimas Soeyono the school hopes to be able to run shows in the near future. 

Top Dojo

Based in Thailand, Top Dojo is a training facility for aspiring Thai wrestlers run by Thailand original Golum Thai. They hold almost monthly mat shows from their training center and a once annual ring based event titled Siam Fighter
